 ok my budget is $100 help me decide which one to get

Alpine CDE-100, Pioneer DEH 3300 or JVC KDR520

the alpine is blah the jvc has dual rca so if u are using a mid amp AND a sub amp its the winner for that reason only the pioneer is the better quality and best features tho...

Sic, I KNEW you'd blast the alpine and rate the pioneer as the best!! But he's right...pioneer for features, jvc having the dual rca's if you're going to add an amp to power speakers and possibly a sub. But I wouldn't waste money on adding an amp if the head unit is under $99. You'd be better saving money to get a medium level head unit under $249 and getting a 2 or 4 channel amp to power your speakers and a mono amp to power a sub because the median priced head units will have better sound quality and more powerful preamp outputs.

anytime rca runs are involved evben the cheapest pioneer will outshine an alpine... and jvc being japanese made is almost as good... alpine is just a name now days...at least pioneer and jvc actually do rated voltage on the rca... and fwiw pioneers decks do not clip til 1 voltage tic from max...
