 Sub voice coil came off

Hey I have 2 10" JBL GTIs and on each of them 1 of the voice coils came off at the point where they connect to the cone. Is it safe to solder them at the cone?  Also will the change the sound quality much and would it make it a lot more likely to come apart again?
