imho no amp over 3kw is good for daily... to hard to feed 300-700 amps of steady current...

if you build a nice power supply then 3k + daily is fine. I am using 5 kinetik 1800 and building up the one installers Smart car with 2 1800s and a 1400 to run 1500rms on a single ported 15.

kool,...smart car! lol, whoevers' car that is has the obsesson LOL, naw-but besides daily is that amp realiable? i was thinking about going with a crossfire VR4000d but i heard they were huge current hogs and evendoe i consider myself a noob to the 1500+watt range that doesnt sound good. does the xxx demand more-than-average current?

tbh i dont know of many amps over 3500 that are good on electrical lol....the GP3k saz3500 and aq 3500 are some of the most efficient for the power they make and they are not efficient at all lol

if you have 100% of the required amps via battery and get an HO alt youd be fine with 6kw...we have done 5kw on a stock alt and 4 batts and it is pushing it a tad...we drop to 13 volts on hard burps...

maybe... dont see why not.. depends really on the alt and what stock batts... superstart batts from o'reilly auto are made by deka...2 of the 34extagm ( deka 9a34's...) and a 200 amp alt would be just enough imo...

no yellow tops... they are horrible for car audio use...

this is their toughest battery and it is 200$... Part Number: D31T (8050-160) YellowTop®; Deep Cycle Battery; UNBOXED; Grp. D31T; Cold Crank Amps 900; Crank Amps 1125; Res. Capacity 155; Ampere Hour 75; Top Terminal; L-12 13/16 in.; W-6.5 in.; H-9 3/8 in.;

and that 75ah rate is a 22hr rate...and yellow tops are deep cycle hybrids not a true full agm...

an o'reilly 34extagm is a deka 9a34 which is a true 15hr 55ah rate with a 3yr free exchange and is 130$...and it is a full AGM... it is the intimidator battery... check remy battery on the net ;)

...well i'll just keep the yellow top under the hood and wire a SS directly on my big amp in the back. the two different batt types should'nt pose a prob do you think?
