 JVC vs. factory stereo quality...

So I bought a new JVC KW XR610 unit to replace my factory '07 Volkswagen Jetta HU, subs can now run off direct RCAs instead of speaker level outputs, and factory component door speakers can get a tad more power I figure. So my question is, FOR NOW, until/if I decide to add good speakers and dedicated full range amp, is the new stereo gonna make a noticeable different in the sound reproduction and bass clarity? I know at higher volumes, the treble was shitty and muddy, and there was a constant electrical whine that increases with volume/RPM when using the aux jack...

It will be better but you will still be limited by your stock speakers. Unless they are like the luxury edition or watever, upgraded speakers then I would upgrade for sure. You will notice a pretty big difference.

Here's the thing about the aftermarket speakers, I kinda have a bad taste in my mouth, don't get me wrong I'd love to upgrade those as well, but it's just the last two cars I've had when I put new speakers in, they honestly didn't sound much better than the stock speakers, and the bass response in both of them was noticeably weaker than the stockers. Course, the CLARITY and highs may have been better, and I didn't have a sub in either of them like I do now, but I was just disappointed overall for the work I put into switching em. 6x8s should have at least had a decent punch to em... Are there any robust, good sounding midbass woofers under $75 a pair? Actually, I'd prefer to leave the factory sail tweeters alone...that would be ideal I think.
