Where did you wire the remote turn-on from? If it is off another accessory and the amp is not turning off then it will def. drain your battery. check that with a DMM cause the power and ground does not drain the battery when the amp is turned off!

Okay, the amp light do not be on when the key switch is off. If the main hot from the battery to the amp is disconnected, as soon as I conncet the lead on it will have a spark indicating that something is grounding out with taht amp. Is it because of the same remote connecting maybe being supplied from another source ?

Oh and thank u for trying to help me

Youre gonna have to check it with the DMM to find out for sure, but the sparking is not good. Check to see if your ground is in a good place

Your spark sounds normal actually. If I understand you correctly. Every time you leave the car you disconnect the main positive wire. Your problem is obviously your wired the remote line to somthing that's always on. Well when you remove the positive the amp loses power but is still "on" because the remote and ground are still hooked up. Therefore your amp will completely discharge its capacitors to stay on. When you reconnect the positive it will instantly recharge the caps. That's your spark. On a normal setup an amplifier will never lose power in the caps. So when you hook it back up there is no power transfer and no spark. That is if I understand you correctly. Dmm between your remote line and ground and see if you get voltage with the car off.
