 8's or 10's

do to space restrictions, we will only have about 1/2 inch of clearance behind the 10 that we want to use we are thinking of going to an 8 or two 8's. Can somebody tell me what my ears will hear different between two 8's compared to one 10. Thanks, Ron

It totally depends on the drivers and whether they're in the right enclosure. The tc epic 8. At parts express is one of the best 8's on the market. In the right box and the right amp they'll sound amazing.

the box is 1.45 cubic feet with out the subs, one ten inch type r fits this when vented, and two 8 inch type r's fit this same box. We planned to do the ten but not quite enough room behind the subwoofer but the 8 will fit.
