 Enclosures or not for 6X9 speakers in rear deck?

I've got a 1955 Chevy I'm restoring to drive. I'm going with just an in-dash receiver that is OK but nothing special. I have some hearing troubles and really can't take loud music anymore. So I'm not going for high power or a sub. Just some average 6X9 3-ways in the rear window tray and a couple of 4" 2-ways in the door. My question is should I use enclosures for the 6X9 speakers? I like the idea to isolate road noise from the trunk but don't want to hurt the sound. I would leave them to run IB... no box... they will reproduce the music more naturally that way. 3 ways would be better than 4 ways as well...look into the higher end Pioneers... they are designed to run well off of deck power.

Thanks I'll just do that. Hey I found a pair of Pioneer 6X9 three ways in the original box that my brother gave me a few years ago. I think he just used them for a short time. I forgot I had them. I might as well use them. For what I am wanting, they should be fine. Btw, here is the head unit I have.
