 Alpine type E's! WOW!

Just hooked up the E's in a single cab s10 in two sealed truck box's about .70cu. I payed $64 bucks for them. They are running off a 500w sound ordinance amp. I was very impressed. They were alot louder than what I thought they would be and on the low notes I was waiting for them to bottom out but they hit the low notes and got louder. All in all this is a very decent sub!!

for what they are they do quite well.. we took out 3 type r 12's ported at 34Hz on a RF2500 and put in 6- 10" E's sealed and it was louder cleaner and much punchier...

Ya, on the RAM 1500 install I did, I fought tooth and nail to get that DC sub under the seat. Shit, we raised the rear seats well over a inch to do so. Something type E similar was the option, I just couldnt bring myself to go there. I know the bass sound you're describing SIC. I have never heard a shallow sub sound the way I like to hear bass.
