So I am almost finished with my install. thank you to many of you for advice and direction. this is my Sons 2006 silverado standard cab. This is what I have so far. Pioneer 7200HD, 2 Zed's Dreadnoughts, (only using one currently), Zed's RA preamp, MB Quart RLP 12" shallow mount subs and Boston Acoustics Pro 60se. Everything is looking very good so far. I will try to post some pics when I finish. I am excited to see how it all sounds!
My mind is already thinking toward an upgrade and this is where I am seeking some opinions on upgrading the subwoofers. During my box building I have found that I can have enough room for a couple of approx. 1.2cuft boxes and enough depth for most standard subwoofers. This is where I would use the second dreadnought bridged for 2 - 4 ohm channels at 800 watts each.
I like solid and the lowest bass that I can fit. I am a fan of the bass that you feel. In the past I have stayed with sealed enclosures because of the tighter feel and also space limitations.
With 800 watts from the ZED droughnoughts per subwoofer and the box size I have listed above, what are some good choices.
Thanks in advance.
