 Split system

Hi all I am from South Africa and I need some advice. The sound scene here is very restricted and the selection is sparse with prices being very high. I am in need of a new split system after my DLS K5s busted. I want sound Quality but DLS is very hard to get hold of here and I was looking into another brand. Thus far Alpine seems the best option. I am looking for good quality speakers that will rock but won't cost an arm and a leg (take the K5 pricing as a guide please and maybe a little higher) We pay 50%-200% more than you would in the states! Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thankyou

I can get the following makes: Polk Audio (Limited supply but I hear good things) Alpine (highly rated) DLS (Very small supply and highly rated JBL Serwin Vega (limited supply and some people love it) Kenwood Rockford Fosgate (Heard mixed things. Their audio can be cold I hear) Those are pretty much the only brands I'll touch but I don't know their quality when compared. I need a 5.1/4" system to play good music(Manson, Korn, Led Zeppelin, Rammstein, Prodigy, etc) Thus far I'm leaning to the DLS Reference 5" splits at R2000 or $281 (here).
