are you looking to just add a mono amp and sub to the bose or take out the bose completely?? You can add a mono amp and sub with a line out converter.

but for the most part, you will want to just gut out that bose completely and go aftermarket....bose is just too overpriced and doesn't offer clarity and diversity like aftermarket

are you looking to save trunk space or go with loudness?? Ported boxes require lots of space so they're very big. Sealed is for sound quality and if you want to retain most of your trunk space, you can go with a custom sealed box or phantom box to hide it.

personally I think for what they are that stock Bose that Nissan uses is more than enough for alot of people, just adding a single 12 or dual 10's on 800-1000 rms will slam in that thing.. the 09 Nissan I did flexes the glass in the trunk on only 1000 rms and sounds extremely clean doing it...

 Good option ;)

I own a Nissan Murano 04 and i have the same question because i dont want the bose system anymore, they are so overrated. Anyways I was looking for just one 12 sub its a Sundown Audio 600rms but a lot of people told me that they can handle so much more power, even they use them in SPL. But i want to upgrade the speakers too, so i think in a 5 channel amp right away, i dont want nothing to fancy, i saw a 5ch Hifonics amp, it will give 1000rms in the Mono ch. If you want a decent sound system i think this one will work for you. Good luck!

Yes it look just great, nothing too fancy but it does the job and for being a 5ch with 1000rms for subs its a great option
