 DASH TWEETS RF Prime breakdown

In attempt to not bash a audio company, i will reserve my judgement on soundstream tweeters here. As you will see, that shit get no play in my ride.
I have moved over to fosgate. Starting with the prime series. The deal I got on them at retail was out of this world. One word to describe them: CHEAP, cheap as shit. Way less than you'd expect from RF, but it is the bottom end of their line. They come with a capacitor, glued in series and I can't see what the uf reading is on the cap. The instructions say they are 2.5kHz though. SO, unlike every other IDIOT. I ran a temp wire long enough to hold the tweet in my hand and place it in several areas along the A-pillar while listening to it.
SOUND:
This tweet gets play. I like it. The high is not to bright nor too excruciatingly loud. Its soft, pleasant and plenty clean. The tweet can rotate off axis quite a bit, so there may be no need to fiberglass the A-pillar interior panel with a tweet pod. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Try the RF Power Series comp. The tweets are a silk dome and sound very smooth. And they handle power well, I'm running a set of 5.25 in a bi-amp configuration, putting around 75 watts to each of the four drivers. Pretty impressive for a set of comps that cost around $160.00.

Ya, I had my eye on the power tweets too. The frequency that I was looking to fill didn't warrant the use of anything extraordinary though. They only play the last few kHz toward the inability of the human ear to detect sound...
