I'm not really concerned with an exact replacement, I'd just like to have that fully customizable Illumination option on an Alpine. I guess it would also help to know what the difference is between CDA-XXXX and CDE-XXXX.
EDIT: I found the model#. It was an Alpine CDA-9831

I believe that year deck (and possibly the year after) were the only ones that had that option. I think they had like 512 different customizable colors/mixes.
