'04 Silverado 6-Speaker Crossover?

I am replacing the factory speakers in my '04 silverado (6 speaker system, w/o onstar, factory head unit).  I purchased a set of Infinity 6030cs component speakers for the front and a set of 6032cf for the rear.  My question is does the factory radio have a cross-over for the front component speakers?  There are separate wires going to the woofer and tweeter.  Do I hook the new speakers up to these wires?  Or do i use the crossover included with the infinity speakers and hook to the factory wire for the woofer?  There is some type of electrical device wired to the tweeter(capacitor, diode etc??), I am guessing this cuts the lower freqs from the tweeter and the woofer is run full range??
