Need help with wiring Pioneer stereo on a 95 Ford Ranger

Hey everyone, I'm new to all of this. I recently bought my first vehicle to be used to go to and from college and I also recently decided to buy a stereo to install in the truck as it did not come with one when I bought it. I have already purchased the stereo and it is the Pioneer 64BT model from Walmart. I also bought the Scosche wiring connector to be used to connect the Pioneer wiring to the truck's console. I'm completely new to this sort of thing. I have already tried to wire the wires to the connector but when I turned on the stereo to see if everything works correctly, my speakers were not making any sound. I checked and the speakers are there and connected to some wiring. I may have done something wrong on the wires. I have a video uploaded on Flickr that will maybe show things better than I can explain them. The adapter seems to include several types of adapters but some of the wiring (i.e., the speaker wires) is connected directly to the other adapters that I am not using. I also have pictures of what the truck's wiring looks like within the dash. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22848790@N05/6565412633/in/photostream/ http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7011/6565464235_886121db53_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7016/6565464615_c54d95b42d_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7171/6565465567_41c826316c_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7164/6565466037_53af794745_b.jpg EDIT: I actually may have found the problem... It seems I did not have the green and violet wires connected. Those go to the rear speakers and I think I only have rear speakers in this truck... I will report back if the problem is solved or not. :P
