 Stereo Powers up but no Sound

I am attempting to install a basic JVC headunit. The stock unit worked fine and still does when I plug it back in so I know the speakers are good. I have a schoshe wiring harness and have all of the colors properly connected from the included JVC harness to the schoshe. The unit will power up and appears to funstion properly but no sound comes through the speaker when I flip the key in the ignition. I am thinking there is something simple that I missed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
