HELP I did a silly thing

Hello everyone, I've doen a silly thing. I bought a new car yesterday with a pretty advanced sound system on the drive home I turned up the speakers very loud and everything was working fine, good noise from tweeters speakers and sub then all of wudden i think i went a bit to loud and the speakers stopped working, I get sound from the sub and sound from the tweeters but nothing from the actual speakers. Does this mean I have blown the speakers as there is power going to the tweeters as there is sound but nothing from the speakers please tell me where to start as i am a newb and have no idea about this. There are two alpine amps a an alpine sub and two front speakers with tweeters. Thanks in advance. Alex

 Yep they are cooked.

Sorry to tell you this but they are donzo or the wires came (Very Unlikely) but you can get some replacement alpines for a good price or if you want to go baller style buy some Focal Audio you will pay out the a** but you get what you pay for.

if only the speakers (not tweeters) are hooked up to 1 of your amps, maybe the amp blew, not the speakers? Just a thought.

were you testing to see how loud the system could go??  how are the amp gains set??
