 Help with build

My amp is a cheaper low end amp, Lanzar HTG237 1000 Watt 2 Channel Mosfet Amplifier. Volume is more important than Sound Quality.

My speakers are 6.5" (Pair) Pyle Audio PLMRW65/65 200 Watt Two Way Speakers.

Is it bettert to configure as 2 x 125W RMS @ 4 OHMS or 2 x 225W RMS @ 2 OHMS per my amp configuration options. The first option would be a single pair split between channels and the second option would be 4 speakers as parallel connected pairs.

Should I be concerned about any risk to my amp or speakers in either configuration?

2 ohm is preferred. Although the hardware you are specifying is low end. its almost not worth doing the wiring and pain of installation for that set up. Think about upgrading. Even used lightning audio/infinity hardware will sounf about a million times better than what you have now. My 2 cents.

are you an infinity dealer or what, what makes infinity so great.....

mister, if you run 4 sets of drivers causing the amp to see the 2ohm load it will be much louder thus giving you that desired volume over quailty you initially posted about.  honestly the quality will decrease by droping from 4ohm to 2ohm and you will be potentially stressing out the amp more cause it will be working harder. but if you are careful you should be ok.

my personal opinion is that lightening audio and infinity is basically same quality range as pyle and lanzer.
