 Single 12" on 400 RMS

Hello again everybody, I have a video of my system that I would like to share with you.. I don't have many subscribers on YouTube but thought maybe some of you would enjoy what I've done recently.. We have a few shows coming up in the next few months here in Oklahoma and I will get it metered on the TermLab and post the results.. It's a 12" MTX Thunder 8000 on a MTX TC4002 amp, Pioneer 510-UB and stock electrical and speakers from a 2001 Hyundai Sonata GLS.. I will be finishing the big 3 upgrade this weekend as well as adding more sound dampener from front to rear.. It already has 1-3 layers on all doors, roof, trunk, quarter panels and some of the A-pillars..

I have other videos on my channel of the box before this one as well as the building of this particular box.. I'm not going to ask you to 'like' the video but I do want to point out that this is only 400 watts RMS on a single 12" sub.. Everybody that has heard it in person has asked how many subs I have and what components are in it.. They've been amazed at the quality of sound as well as the pressure levels..

Let me know what you think!

..... i wouldnt be proud of a buzzy car. ull get a better tl reading if u deaden ur car and stop that flex! its not even that cool, it basically demonstrates the noobness that you are..

u may have a fairly loud setup for 400 watts, but stop the buzzing and flex and ur score will be a little better and you wont get audio veterans like myself, making fun of you at a stoplight

I understand that completely and appreciate your input, however there is nearly a hundred dollars in Audio Technix 60 mil sound deadner already in the car.. All four doors are double lined, trunk is double and triple lined on the lid and sides, roof is double lined.. All speaker mounts have deadner. I could just add more and more but am looking for a better solution

There is alot of plastic pieces and seat movement that still needs to be addressed.. I agree there is more that needs to be done, just proud of the results so far is all.. There is alot of deadner already installed and it still flexes, and I don't like the flex.. If you notice around the sunroof it doesn't flex much now since it was a weak spot and alot of attention was spent trying to eliminate all movement..

Any idea on how to reduce the trunk lid rattle when the sub is using the trunk as a loading chamber/wall? Only way I've been able to make it rattle less is fire the sub and port inside the cabin but that reduces SPL.. I could build a fake wall inside the trunk but am hoping for an easier solution.. Any ideas would be appreciated!
