 Wondering if this 12v plug in wire will work for room system

i have this 12v wall plug in wire with positive and negative wires on it, how would i hook it up to my amp to get it to power on? never hooked up a car amp in my room before

A 12v plug in wire is not a recognized method of converting to DC. What you need is a converter/inverter that has the current carrying capacity for the amp.

Agreed.  The wall plug would work fine if you are simply trying to plug the amp in to see if it powers on, but asking it to put out any kind of power of that dinky little thing could damage your amp's power supply from lack of current.
