Ping G15 Driver - A New Era of Fun in Golf

The launch monitor told me that I needed a driver with a 12 degree loft and a regular shaft to better leverage my slow swing speed and flat swing plane. titleist 910 d2 Luckily, Ping has a good assortment of 12 degree drivers. My carry distance improved from 188 yards to 215 yards. With the additional roll, I am hitting more greens in regulation on the par 4's and par 5's. The best investment ever made in golf is lessons followed by the launch monitor analysis and culminating with the Ping 12 degree G15 driver. I switched to the G15 9 degree with an extra stiff TFC shaft after hitting the Ping i15 8 degree, extra stiff for about 6 months. Length is comparable, but the G15 is waaay is easier to hit. Ball carries a long way, and distance is not too compromised into the wind. ping g20 driver Club sits up squarely and the ball tends to draw easily (but does not turn into a hook). Those looking for an easy to hit but also length-producing driver should be pleased. I've played with just about all top brand drivers. By far this one is not only easy to hit but light weight, great center of gravity for mis-hits. The ball launches high and you can work it left or right. I chose the regular shaft, 10.4 loft and regular head. (Non draw since I have a tendancy to hit a slight hook or draw anyway). This club is cheaper than the higher end clubs as well and even though you may lose 10 yards or so, you're likely to hit more fairways. The fairways at the club where I play are extremely difficult to hit out of. taylormade r11s So, I would rather be a little short and down the middle than long and in the gunch. Not to say you can't blast a 300 yard drive with this club. It's just more forgiving than any that I've used. This Driver is a gem. It has a nice feel and weight balance and it hits the ball for miles. It has nice grips and like the sound it makes when hitting the ball. I would definitely recommend it for seniors and new players a like.
