 DD Z1A Heat Issues

Hey guys im using a DD Z1A amp in my daily driver but i cant figure out if its a typical problem for this amp or not but even at idle (or banging it hard) the amp will over heat in 20-30 mins... it will shut itself off and then come back on a minute later for 5 mins then go back off.... Unsure if there is any aftermarket cooling system i use with the amp that will actually help or not.

Thank you

Marshall

I am using this amp to power an Older Power Acoustik Mofo 15" (before they tried making them look cheap)... 1200 rms 2ohm DVC wired @ 4ohms since the sub hates 1ohm...
