Install Details
Installer:
DJ, Chris, Travis, Myself and lotsa PULL!
Equipment:
Kenwood Excelon KDC-X759 head unit; Kicker 1200.1 amp; MTX 1500.2 amp; Alpine 500.4 amp; 2 Kicker L712s; 2 Kicker L7 10s; MB Quartz, Boston Acoustic, and Alpine for the mids and highs, 3 power caps, work-a-holic battery/isolator, MB,Boston,Alpine X-Overs.
Description:
This is clearly an issue of needing an x-tra cab. But; we where still able to fit the four subs into my standard cab Toyota. I put the L7 12s in a sealed box that only the grills and the face protrude into the cab / from the bed. The L7 10s are in a Kicker box that sits up on a shelf, level with the rear slider. That left us the room behind the seats for mounting one amp, three power caps, fuse blocks, dist. blocks, X-Overs, etc... The other two amps found home under the seats. Will send picts.

Get Back! Its Huge!
This 86 Toy I picked up for $500. It was all stock and needed a motor. The original was a basket case. I installed a motor, exhaust, clutch kit, 4" body lift, 35"X15.5"X15" Super Swampers, aluminum wheels, Smittybilt bumpers and nerf bars, 4500lb. winch, fiberglass canopy, complete interior, four subs, four amps, three caps, eight mids, four tweets, and head unit. Topped it off with new paint job.

is there anything in place to keep the bass from disipating into the back? also would recomend that you run some threaded rods into your box and attach the box to the frame and tighten the hell out of it to make it more solid and you will make your friend

Sweet ride man. I have never seen that big a mix of equipment before. Love the location of your subs. That must just kill your ears when your driving.

This is an exciting ride you got Bill. You've really given it a substantial work over. And done a fine job at that. Pretty solid job at that too. Especially with your design challenges. Go big or go home huh? Take Care, Jason
