Install Details
Installer:
Chris Huyler
Equipment:
Clarion 9575rz head unit; MTX Thunder 204; MTX Thunder 302; Eclipse 6.5" components; Eclipse 8612D2 12" Sub
Description:
This was the car I had while in college. It was a 6 hour trip back and forth to school so I needed a car with plenty of trunk space that would be comfortable on the road. I also wanted some good tunes for the ride so I used Clarion's flagship 9575rz with a pair of MTX amps to power my Eclipse speakers and subwoofer. Read the descriptions for each photo for more details.

Amplifier Rack
As you can see, the system uses very little trunk space. Originally, the spare tire was located where the amplifiers are. Behind the amplifiers is a subwoofer box holding a single 12" Eclipse sub. Many have asked for a photo of the subwoofer but I do not have one. The subwoofer was mounted facing upward in a sealed box. The rear 5x7 speakers were removed so the sound would vent to the cabin.

Apparently you haven't looked at some of the other installs on this site. At least I have half-way decent photos and detailed descriptions of everything. I didn't have a digital camera at the time I owned this car so I didn't get very many photos of it.
