Install Details
Installer:
Me
Equipment:
Hifonics BX1500D. A pair of RE SE 12" Subwoofers. 4 gauge knukonceptz kolossus power wire. The trunk is lined with RAAMMAT sound dampening material. The system is not done yet, I still need to upgrade my components to have better mids and highs.
Description:
Two Resonant Engineering SE 12's in 4.06ft^3 enclosure tuned to 34Hz pushed by a Hifonics BX1500D. These subs hit deep, clean and hard as all hell. The amp is rated 1500w rms @ 1 ohm, but it is actually pushing 1200w RMS, so it fits the SE's perfectly.

Finished Enclosure w/ RE SE 12 Subs
I just used yellow vinyl and some decal carbon fiber to add some color to the install. I did not want anything super sofisticated, just a nice clean and basic install.

Man I think that scoop looks cool. Completely original. Never seen a box with a hood scoop. Sounds kinda tacky, but looks rather interesting. Gotta keep those subs.....cooled? lol. I like it. Later
