Boss-1600 peak 4-ch amp
2 Polk EX-Series II--EX572A
2 Pioneer TS-A6871R's 6x8
Kenwood KDC-MP4032 HU
OPTX StreetGlow Red Neon Kit
NX Racing black/grey seat covers
Description:
I have the pioneers in the front doors which produce sweet @ss highs. very audible and do not distort period over my subs. i have my polks in the rear deck and are pretty decent mids. havent really tested them yet. i just put in my amp and subs in the trunk, but still need to secure the subs. so far, un-broken in, they sound awesome to me. i just want them to be heard better outside the car at ~500 ft. oh well, im still happy. im going to get 2 more 6x8s to add w/ the polks in the rear. :D

i'd say hide the wires by just cutting a hole in the carpet in the trunk and slide them under there so that they just pop out where they connect into the amp and sub box. That's how i'd do it simply anyways. Or make a cover out of MDF and carpet it.

Your amp shouldn't have that much trouble laying free like that, you could build a box for it then mount the fans so it has constant air movement, but thats not always the best answer.

The problem is the difference in our setups, my amps are boxed in, so I cut holes and mounted the fans on the bottom side of the MDF, so you don't really see them, except for two 2 1/2" holes.

All I did to lengthen the fan wire was butt-connect some 18 gauge to the wire of the fan, mine were old computer fans so they were 12v DC and I wired them into the ground and remote on one of the amps. That way your fan comes on with the sub and doesn't d
