Installer:
PJ (myself)

Equipment:
HU: Alpine CDA9851
Amps: Alpine MRP-F250, Alpine MRP-M450
Front: RF 4" (40w RMS)
Rear: Pioneer 6"x9" (40w RMS)
Sub: Alpine 10" Type-R

Description:
My car started out with a stock tape deck and Clarion amp under the seat. Over three stages I added the new HU and speakers, 4 channel amp and a mono amp and sub. I wanted a clean, minamalist look with good sound. All in all I'm totally happy with how it turned out.

Thanks Luther! Have I asked you if you knew anyone from Connecticut College? We had a pretty good sailing program and I think a few went on.

It sounded clean and the 10 threw down some bass. My next project is an Alpine MRV-M1005 powering two Type-R 12"s, and an F450 powering Diamond Audio D551s.

Thanks man, I wanted to recess the amps into the boxes but just didn't have the horizontal space. Maybe next time. I set the HU to 100hz and the bass drop is pretty clean, shakes the car nice, haha.

Can't go wrong with Type-R for the money. That sub still amazes me daily. I'm running a 12" and could not be happier for the $160 I paid. Take a look at mine.
