Alpine IVA-D310, head unit. JL Audio 300/4, amplifier. Alpine PXA-H701, signal processor. MB Quart PCE 210, front speakers. MB Quart PCE 164, door woofer. MB Quart PCE 216, rear speakers. Alpine KCA-420i, iPod interface. Alpine NVE-852, navigation.

Description:
Eliminated all OEM audio equipment and wiring, as well as an aftermarket FM-transmitting Sony CD changer. Installed most of the equipment on a carpeted MDF board in the trunk. Ran 12-gauge speaker wire to all speaker locations. Ran 0-gauge power cable from Optima Yellow-Top battery in engine compartment to a power distribution unit on the equipment board in the trunk. Added an iPod interface, a navigation system and a back-up camera. Those Mercedes seats are HEAVY.

Equipment board in trunk, finished.
The MDF equipment board is covered with Mercedes-Benz OEM carpet material to match the trunk lining.
